I really like this iPad cover. I’m not fond of leather, so I was looking for a cloth cover, and this one is very nice. It’s elegant and it protects my iPad very nicely.
It only covers the left edge of the iPad, so it won’t offer much protection if the iPad is dropped, but I’m not concerrned about that. My iPad fits securely in the four corner straps that hold it. One thing I don’t like is that the upper-right corner strap covers the power button and the orientation lock button. So far, it hasn’t caused the iPad to errantly turn on or off.
The inside of the front cover has three pockets, and I use one to hold a screen cleaning cloth. I do wish there were a slot to hold a stylus, however.

I received this case yesterday, and so far am very pleased with the quality of the construction and materials that went into this case. I had been looking for a case similar in design to the Apple-produced case, but made with a material that wouldn’t attract dust and lint like the Apple case is prone to. I had purchased another case with a similar design, but the quality of the materials and construction were not up to snuff. This one, however, meets and exceeds all expectations.
I like the overall look and feel of the case; I wasn’t sure how I’d like the canvas as opposed to the ‘leather-like’ appearance of some other cases in this price range (most genuine leather cases cost much more), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the material has a nice texture in both look and feel. The canvas material also seems quite durable, and should provide more than adequate protection from the rigors of daily use.
What I like most about this style case in general is the versatility of serving as a stand for typing. There are many other cases that also add this functionality, but most are either more expensive, or the ones in the same price range as this one tend to be flimsy at best. This is not the case with the CaseCrown Canvas Horizontal Flip case; the case is constructed such that the ’stand mode’ is very sturdy, and I have no worries of it collapsing as I’m trying to type on my iPad. Again, this case shows superior construction for the price.
All in all, I am very satisfied with this case, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, quality case on a budget.

The case is designed to fit the iPad perfectly, but doesn’t. At the top of the screen there is a sliver of the screen that is hidden behind the edge of the case. Most of the time it isn’t a problem, but there are occasions when I am trying to select something right on the edge of the screen and the case gets in the way. I have found myself trying to press the iPad just a little further into the case.
The top of the case is completely open, there is nothing to keep the iPad in. At first I didn’t think it would be a problem, but one day I was carrying upside down and e iPad started to slide out.
Other than that, I do like the case. It does provide good protection. Most of the time it does not limit the usability of the iPad. I keep my iPad in the case when I leave the house. When using it at home, I sometimes pull the iPad out and use it without the case. I’ve found the IPad is sized perfectly to hold in both hands and type with my thumbs, but the case makes it too bulky to do that comfortably.
